A 74ª edição do Globo de Ouro aconteceu na noite deste domingo (8) no hotel Beverly Hilton, Beverly Hills, na Califórnia, Estados Unidos.
O maior vencedor da noite foi “La La Land: Cantando estações”, levando os sete prêmios aos quais concorria: melhor comédia ou musical; melhor diretor e melhor roteiro, para Damien Chazelle; melhor ator em comédia ou musical, para Ryan Gosling; melhor atriz em comédia ou musical, para Emma Stone; e melhor canção original e melhor trilha sonora, ambas para o compositor Justin Hurwitz.
O melhor filme de drama foi “Moonlight: Sob a luz do luar”, único prêmio dos seis aos quais tinha sido indicado. Casey Affleck recebeu o prêmio como melhor ator por “Manchester à beira-mar”, que concorria em cinco categorias. Já francesa Isabelle Huppert venceu na categoria melhor atriz em filme de drama, pelo trabalho em “Elle”. “The crown” venceu na categoria melhor série de drama e de melhor atriz para Claire Foy. Já a melhor série de comédia foi “Atlanta”.
Meryl Streep recebeu o Cecil B. DeMille Award, prêmio pelo conjunto da obra e fez um discurso emocionado.
